What this is
Connection & Direction is a free weekly online group for adults in London who want more confidence, connection, motivation, and practical direction.
It is for people who may feel isolated, low in confidence, culturally disconnected, unsure about work or volunteering, or unclear about what could help next.
How it works
A respectful space where you can speak honestly about what is happening, without pressure to share more than feels right.
Facilitators and peers help notice themes, hopes, barriers, confidence, relationships, belonging, and possible next steps.
The group offers contact, encouragement, cultural understanding, and signposting where another support route may help.
Each session closes with one small practical step towards wellbeing, learning, volunteering, work, relationships, or community life.
What happens
Safety
Registration is required before receiving the Zoom link. Sessions are not recorded. Cameras are encouraged but not mandatory. Participants agree to respect privacy, avoid pressure or advice-giving, and follow facilitator guidance.
If you are in immediate danger or need urgent crisis support, this group is not the right support. Please use emergency or crisis services.
Languages
The group is open to all adults 18+ in London. Polish and Romanian support may be available for registration, clarification, and access needs where possible. The first pilot does not promise full live translation.
Facilitators
The pilot is led by founders with experience across homelessness support, vulnerable-adult services, third-sector work, community support, reflective practice, and management.
Register your interest for Tuesday 2 June 2026, 7:00-8:00pm BST. The founders will review whether the group looks like a suitable fit before sending meeting details.
