About the group

Connection, confidence, and one practical next step.

Connection & Direction is being piloted by London-based founders with experience in homelessness support, vulnerable-adult services, third-sector management, community-based support, and reflective practice.

The offer

The group is for adults who want a respectful online space to think aloud, feel less alone, and identify something manageable to do next. The deeper aim is meaningful participation: wellbeing, relationships, volunteering, learning, work readiness, community involvement, and a stronger sense that life can feel understandable, manageable, and meaningful.

The method

Listen

Start with what is happening now.

Reflect

Notice patterns, barriers, values, hopes, and choices.

Connect

Build belonging and signpost where another service may help.

Act

Leave with one realistic step before the next session.

Facilitators

Krystian is a co-founder of Connection & Direction with experience in homelessness support, reflective practice, vulnerable-adult services and third-sector management. His role in the pilot is to support safe group boundaries, practical signposting and the “one manageable next step” approach. He is especially interested in connection, confidence, systems-aware support and using technology ethically to widen access without replacing human judgement.

Bogdan Micu is a co-founder of Connection & Direction and a psychotherapist with experience in reflective practice, emotional wellbeing and culturally aware support. In the pilot, he helps hold a calm, respectful group space where people can think aloud, notice patterns and identify realistic next steps. His psychotherapy background informs the facilitation, but Connection & Direction is not therapy, counselling or clinical treatment. He works in both English and Romanian.

Languages

Sessions are mainly in English. Polish and Romanian support may be available for registration, clarification, and access needs where possible. The first pilot does not promise full live translation.
